The Journey Continues
Amy Brace
Today was a very difficult and also very necessary day. For me, my family, my friends and for my business. Today marked my last day at Le Cordon Bleu, not because I graduated, but because it just wasn't for me.
I tried my very best to learn as much as I could and get the most of everything. With the time I will gain, I will be spending it growing my business. And you bet I will be heading to the bank and finding that perfect storefront.
Amy's Cupcake Shoppe has been growing like crazy over the last year, and all my incredible customers deserve the best. I'll continue learning through my favorite methods; good ol' experimenting, Craftsy, cookbooks and YouTube. It's what I have used so far, and I love the results.
I'm not a quitter and I'm not giving up. I'm doing what's best for my business and cutting my losses in an area that just isn't working. And what does that mean? Time for myself, my family, my friends and my business. Balance will be restored. Baking with a big giant smile is back. Not rushed, not last minute, but carefully planned and executed as perfect as possible.
Thank you so much to those who have been with me through this incredible journey. Ups and downs and all. Business is fun eh? I feel like Kickstarter and I will be close friends soon. Love you all, and Amy's Cupcake Shoppe is coming something fierce and I can't wait. See you there!
